Chen Lu Yu
Born in Beijing and having lived in the USA, Chen Lu Yu is well-versed in Eastern and Western cultures. Lu Yu is the anchor of the popular program, 'A Date with Lu Yu', which was tailored to suit her lively working style. An award-winner, Lu Yu won the China TV Programme Award 2000 for the 'Best Female Presenter of the Year'. Her excellent command of the English language has been an asset when she covered such events as the 1997 Hong Kong Handover, the funeral of Princess Diana, the US Presidential elections and the terrorist attack of 9/11.
